Find a Counselor
If I know one thing about suffering, it is that every person’s story is unique. Every heartache is individual; and while books, articles and podcasts may provide a starting point in the journey to hope, there are times when you need direct answers to specific questions. There are moments when generalized comfort and hope is not enough. In those moments, one-on-one counseling is priceless. That’s why we’ve provided a link for you to find a certified biblical counselor near you.
I have been on both ends of the counseling spectrum. As a fearful, grieving mother, I have been the one to sit and pour my heart out; and now as a certified biblical counselor, I have been the one to sit, listen and guide. From both angles, I have had the joy of seeing God work in incredible ways. I believe in biblical counseling and in the mighty work that God does in transforming those who come to seek His counsel through His Word the Bible. I have marveled at the peace, the healing, the victory that can come through the work of the Holy Spirit. And because of this, I would encourage anyone who wants to know more, who has questions, who has doubts, who has anger or bitterness to refuse to settle. I would urge you to pursue peace and resolution through counseling.
Certification of Counselors
All counselors found on this website have gone through a rigorous certification process through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and must maintain certain requirements in order to keep their certification active. For the most part, counseling is free of charge and requires no adherence to specific doctrinal/religious beliefs. However, the counsel you receive will be directed solely from the Bible and the Bible alone. If counselors are available in your region, many counselors are willing to utilize virtual means of counseling. Please, contact us directly if you are still unable to find a counselor, and we will do our best to help you find the resources you need.
We pray that God will bless you as you continue to pursue hope in your own unique story.
